Benetel is at the forefront of this trend, with the most interoperable 5G Radio Units on the market today, which have been successfully deployed with over 20 O-RAN CU/DU combinations.
The latest validation of this interoperability came from a collaboration between the engineering teams of Benetel and Allbesmart to complete successful integration of the Benetel RAN550 O-RU with the NVIDIA Aerial L1 and the OpenAirInterface L2/L3 stack, all managed through the OAIBOX dashboard. This milestone provides 5G/6G engineers with access to an open-source, GPU-accelerated research platform designed for experimentation with advanced AI-RAN use cases.
