We are proud to share that Benetel has just completed a very successful participation in “O-RAN Global PlugFest Spring 2023″.
There were many standout moments, however some highlights include:
1. Presenting our O-RAN conformance test and 3GPP test activities and results on RAN650 n77u as well as the detail on Viavi and Rohde & Schwarz equipment used in the setup. We successfully completed 19 O-RAN Conformance test cases and 17 3GPP Conformance test cases.
2. Radisys demonstrated network slicing (2 slices) on a single UE as well as peak throughput and other test cases on Benetel RAN650-n78 OpenRAN Radio Unit, successfully completing 10 IoT/E2E test cases.
3. Using their CU/DU stack combined with Benetel’s RAN550-N78, Capgemini were able to demonstrate 59 connected UEs and max throughputs of > 1Gbps in several IoT/E2E test cases.
4. Benetel’s RAN550 enabled IS Wireless to demonstrate a fully functional private network environment.
