Software Engineer

Dublin, Ireland (80% on-site)

We are looking for a software engineers with a range of experience that must include C/C++, Linux administration, Linux system & D-Bus to join our engineering team. You will develop high-performance software used in next-generation radio products, working alongside experts in radio systems.

Salary Range: €45,000–€75,000

The starting salary will reflect the successful candidate’s demonstrated experience, technical capability, and expected scope of responsibility. We do not request or consider salary history.

Applications will only be accepted for candidates who can demonstrate detailed:

  • Experience in C / C++
  • Linux administration
  • Linux system & D-Bus
  • Experience in standard protocols like I2C, SPI, UART, TCP/IP Protocol, etc.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills beyond application level
  • Microcontroller/processor programming
  • Hands on experience in scripting (Bash, Python)
  • Knowledge of JIRA and Gitflow
  • Cross-compilation, Buildroot and CMake

While all candidates are expected to meet the technical requirements outlined above, appointment to the Senior Engineer level additionally requires demonstrated leadership capability through technical influence, mentoring, ownership of complex initiatives, and contribution to the broader success of the engineering organisation.

 

Advantageous skills include:

  • CI/CD knowledge and administration
  • Knowledge of 16/32 Bit Controllers (PIC, ARM)
  • Experience in multi-threaded development
  • Familiarity with FPGA; Quartus would be added advantage
  • Software unit testing and automation
  • O-RAN / 5G knowledge
