Permanent / Interim Senior Manager Operations – Electronic Manufacturing

The position is dedicated to evolving Benetel on its journey towards operational excellence.  You will lead a team to drive the manufacturing of Benetel’s world class innovative products through partners.

You will lead a team to drive the manufacturing of Benetel’s world class innovative products through partners. Leveraging  your extensive direct or outsourced electronic manufacturing experience and leadership skills, you will lead a talented manufacturing team and support cross functional engineering activities to ensure scale and cost objectives are met.

Your advanced leadership abilities will drive time sensitive production, productivity, and exceptional quality across Benetel. You develop strategy, hold teams accountable and drive continuous improvement to deliver high impact business results.

 

Responsibilities

Detailed responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Drive Benetel’s Contract Manufacturing partners and strategy to drive cost effective product ramps.
  • Establish strong/accountable working relationships with all stakeholders in Benetel, across many levels to drive business process improvements.
  • Drive the operations function to the highest level of excellence measured by our ability to scale and deliver all targets annually
  • Develop/improve Benetel’s Operations End to End Business Processes to drive alignment, communications and decision-making framework.
  • Manage & lead Business Process Improvement communications throughout Operations/Engineering and Senior Management.
  • Operate with a high degree of autonomy and professionalism and prioritize workload in accordance with business requirements and the requirements of customer led projects.
  • Recognize barriers to improvement efforts and work to remove them by defining key accountabilities.
  • Work to implement a culture of First Time Right through partnerships within Benetel and provide leadership in the use of clear principles and process to optimize our technical and business processes
  • Mentor and lead your team to understand the steps to achieving your vision of excellence, ensuring they own and implement same.
  • Enhance/improve Benetel’s Operations End to End Business Processes to drive alignment, communications and decision-making framework.
  • Manage Business Process Improvement communications throughout Operations and ensure Engineering stakeholder alignment
  • Establish KPI measurements and utilize data management skills to drive analytics and provide Senior Management with clear plans each month.
  • Show leadership in crisis management/recovery activities if required

KEY CRITERIA

  • 10 years senior operations experience minimum, ideally within an applicable industry to Benetel with outsource electronic manufacturing
  • Ability to work detailed day to day issues, while maintaining a focus on key strategic items
  • Proven track record of positively influencing at a senior level in the implementation of change and delivery.
  • Resilience and determination to enable the delivery of exceptional operational performance, in a dynamic and fluid work environment
  • An innovative mind-set and a keen interest in evolving industry trends and technologies
  • Owns operational accountability for customer delivery
