Sales Account Manager – UK/Ireland

Benetel is a Western 5G OpenRAN Radio Unit Provider, developing business in Private and Public Networks.

We’re seeking a qualified telecom sales account manager who has deep experience with the entire sales process, excelling at lead generation, relationship building, and deal closing. Of particular interest are sales professionals based in Western Europe with sales background in mobile infrastructure.

We require a quick learner who has strong negotiating skills — someone with a successful track record who can quickly engage with their existing network of system integrators, channel partners and potential customers for Split 7.2 5G Radio Units.

Person profile
Strong telco background, ideally with ability to work within the structure of an SME. Proven track record of selling into operators or other organizational types. Hardware related experience with a technical ability to work on own initiative is a benefit.

Key responsibilities
• Own and execute a strategic sales plan that expands our customer base and extends the company’s market reach
• Engage in person with potential clients and grow long-lasting relationships that address their needs within Benetel product offering
• Consultative selling
• Pre and Post sales account management
• Sales reports and revenue forecasting for assigned accounts
• Addressing customer service issues that need to be escalated
• Consistently working towards deal closing

Required Qualifications
• Industry experience desired
• Proven track record of sales target delivery – evidential statistics required
• Preference for Hardware related selling experience

Essential Skills/Experience
• Four or more years of experience in sales / account management in a technical product setting
• Proven record of success with the entire sales process, from planning to deal closing
• Existing network within the broader eco-system
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Willingness to travel as the role requires
• Demonstrable decision-making ability with ability to drive and challenge
• Commercial Acumen
