Benetel is based in Dublin, Ireland, and was founded in 2001 by a team of highly skilled engineers. Benetel today develops leading-edge hardware platform solutions for 4G/LTE eNodeB Small Cells. Offering off-the-shelf baseband and RF modules in a variety of frequency bands and output powers as well as design and test services, Benetel enables OEMs to radically increase the speed to market of the newest LTE network infrastructure.
In May 2020, we launched our first 5G NR Non-Standalone (NSA) Evaluation System. The 5G NSA system, based on Split 7.2 ORAN interface, is targeted for laboratory, research, and test integration purposes. This innovative system enables interested parties to evaluate, understand, and familiarize themselves with virtualized end-to-end solutions and provides them with a path to deployment grade solution.
The Electronic Technician position will provide the successful candidate an opportunity to join a fast-growing team supporting the development and test of Benetel’s wide range of RF and Baseband products.
The role encompasses working on leading-edge dedicated RF & Baseband modules to implement 4G and 5G small cell base stations. The established team and product platform base provide an environment to enhance and develop skills and capabilities.
Skills and Expertise
The Principal Duties of the Electronic Technician are:
- Executes test protocols under the direction of engineering & production.
- Basic debugging and repair of printed circuit boards
- Maintenance of the lab environment
- Hand Soldering of printed circuit boards
Educational and Experience Requirements
It is expected that candidates will have a minimum of an Associate Degree with less than 2 years of relevant experience or a minimum of training in a technical discipline with more than 3 years of relevant experience or a combination of equivalent education and experience.
